GMC CCKW 2½-ton M27B1 Bomb Service Truck. Precision 1:50 scale. The diecast model, made in France, has the usual superb detail of Solido, even in the cab interior. The M27B1 Bomb Service Truck was used in WWII to carry bombs between ammunition storage areas and airfields where they were loaded onto bombers. The truck was also used for material handling by the Chemical Corps. Solido made this 50th anniversay model in 1999-2000. Because of the short production run, Solido lists it as a limited edition and is VERY SCARCE today. Solido sold this model under their Verem brand name, no. V 9529. BRAND NEW in original box.
