Dinky #415 Vintage Military 3-Wheel Tractor with Open Stake Bed Trailer. This Dinky vehicle made by Meccano started in the 1930s as a 3-wheel tractor (called a mechanical horse) with a closed trailer (#33), then with a "Meccano Engineering for Boys" closed trailer, and then with an open wagon-type trailer (tractor was blue and the wagon was cream color, #415). This was reissued many times in different colors and, after the War in the 1940s, it was issued again in Army olive drab and Navy gray. The model is 4" long (approx 1:72 or 1:76 scale). The rubber tires and paint are in excellent condition, although it appears that something was glued into the trailer (overall Condition B). Some sellers mistakenly put the mfr no. 33 or 33W on this vehicle, but it is actually no. 415.
