Citroen M303 Half-track. This precision 1:43 diecast model made by Micarola, France in the mid-1980s is a highly-detailed limited edition. Dimensions are 4.5" length x 1.5" width x 1.7" height. The model is BRAND NEW mounted on a display plinth with an acrylic case, all in the original box. The model has excellent detail and comes with three soldiers, one with a rifle, that can sit on the front seats or in the bed. Micarola produced several versions of this model (fire brigade, bulk carrier, log hauler, etc), but the military open cab M303 is extremely rare and seldom seen today.

The Citroen M303 Half-track had a 6-cyl, 50-hp engine driving front sprockets via a 4-speed gearbox and 2-speed transfer case. Mechanical brakes, leaf-spring suspension. Produced in the 1930s, many of these artillery prime movers and flat-bed transporters were captured and employed by the Germans at the outset of WWII. The M303 served as the basis for the extremely successful American M2 and M3 half-tracks.
