1936 Ford Tanker Truck. Precision 1:43 scale. This diecast model, made in France, has the usual super detail of Solido, even in the cab interior. The 1936 Ford was not much changed from the 1935 models; this truck has a 70 hp V-8 engine. The information card with the model explains that the Ford "Citerne" was a civilian model used by the Army before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Model is new in the original box and includes a sheet of decals so you can add markings as you wish. Solido made this 50th anniversay model in 1995 for only one year. Because of this short production run, Solido lists it as a limited edition and it is VERY SCARCE today. Solido Model no. 6120.
