Alvis Saladin ~ 1:43 Scale
Die-Cast Metal ~ Vintage Guisval (Spain) ~ New In Box

Alvis Saladin FV-601. Precise 1:43 scale die-cast vehicle made by Guisval, Spain. The 6-wheel armored vehicle with one main gun is painted camo. This is a rare vehicle by Gusival; you'll have a hard time finding one, even web sites in Spain or Portugal. Apparently, Guisval made it for only a very short period of time in the late 80s and it is VERY SCARCE today. This BRAND NEW vehicle is sealed inside the original blisterpack.

The FV601 Saladin is a six-wheeled armored car developed by Crossley Motors and later manufactured by Alvis. Designed in 1954, it replaced the AEC Armoured Car in service with the British Army from 1958 onward. Manufacturing continued until 1972. The vehicle weighed 11 tons, had a top speed of 72 km/hr, and had a crew of three. Saladins were noted for their excellent performance in desert conditions, and found favor with a number of Middle Eastern armies accordingly. They were armed with a 76 mm low-pressure rifled (spin-stabilised) gun.

Packing and shipping is based on a weight of 11 ounces and is only my out-of-pocket cost. I pack and ship the same day payment is received. I'm not like some Internet sellers who build big profits into shipping and screw the buyer.
