Ford GPA Amphibian is precise 1:32 die cast scale vehicle in a diarama scene of the WWII Normandy Landings on June 6, 1944. The GPA was based on the Ford GPW (and Willys MB) Jeep with the same 54 hp engine, 3-speed gearbox, and 2-speed transfer case with the addition of a PTO-driven propeller that could achieve a speed of 7 mph in the water. The vehicle has the markings of the 3rd Armored Division and includes two fuel drums, two 5-gal fuel cans, 3 crates of supplies, spare tire, driver, and French road sign. Unbelievable detail in the Forces of Valor series by Unimax. NOT a toy. This vehicle is BRAND NEW, never opened, in the original box.
