This is a first day cover (FDC), descriptive fold-out insert, and single mint stamp of the UK 11p stamp issued on June 2, 1976 to commemorate the Bicentennial of American Independence. This is a most unusual stamp as it is the first one ever issued by the UK commemorating an American historic event--and that being the revolution against England, of all things!
