WWII Patriotic Covers: Statue of Liberty Theme         This is a selection of 43 patriotic covers that use an image of the Statue of Liberty. Some cachet artists used an image of the entire statue while others used just the head, arm and torch. These covers started to appear early in the war and continued throughout. Some of these covers have special military base cancels and two are actually cancelled on VJ Day.           The covers are listed in alphabetical order by the name of the publisher and/or cachet artist. Please order by cover number.         Prices are cheap! They're way under dealer prices and considerably under those in postal history auctions. All covers will be sent by first class or Priority Mail.
