WWII Patriotic Covers: Metered Mail - 1942 & 1943         This is a selection of 20 patriotic covers in which the postage meter indicia contains a patriotic slogan applied by the meter. Some have cachets, others don't. Metered mail in the 40's was not as common as it is today and it was especially unusual to find pictorial slogans applied by the postage meter. The covers are listed by date. Please order by cover number.         Prices are cheap! They're way under dealer prices and considerably under those in postal history auctions. All covers will be sent by first class or Priority Mail.
