Land Rover Defender ~ Oxford Commercials. Dinky and Lesney move over; there's a new sheriff in town. Oxford Diecast's catalog boldly says, "Taking on the World," and they are in more ways than one. Their die cast models are absolutely superb in detail and Oxford has an unbelievable range. The most recent catalog I have shows more than 700 vehicles; yes, some are the same vehicle only with different color and markings, but still mighty impressive. I love the city of Oxford but these folks just borrowed the name; they're actually located in Swansea, Wales, a nice city in its own right, but wouldn't you feel better buying a refined "Oxford" vehicle rather than a plebeian "Swansea" one? So in any event, here's a nice Land Rover Defender (unfortunately not available in the USA), 110" wheelbase (LWB version) with the enclosed station wagon rear produced from 1983 to 2012. Painted OD with two tall whip antennas on the front and a front and rear license of 64 KJ 56. Did I mention that Oxford vehicles aren't cheap? (All that detail costs money. The last truck I bought set me back about $21. But you can get a batgain price on this one.) It's on its own little black display platform with a heavy clear plastic cover. BRAND NEW IN BOX; never opened.

Packing and shipping is based on a weight of 12 ounces and is only my out-of-pocket cost of $4.10. I pack and ship the same day payment is received. I'm not like some Internet sellers who build big profits into shipping and screw the buyer.
